A special drive of Mumbai Municipal Corporation to impose license on Pet Dogs

All Concerned citizens are hereby informed that as per the provisions of section191-A of Mumbai Municipal Corporation Act, I t is mandatory for the owner of pet dogs to obtain a license by paying Tax of Rs. 100/- for his pet dog whose age is more than 6 months.

If this provision is not complied with, the Pet dog will be detained in dog kennel as per provision of section 191-B (3)(b)

Dogs owner are liable for prosecution for keeping dog without license.

Therefore, All concerned citizens (Pet Dog Owners) are hereby informed to obtain the license for their pet dogs by paying prescribed tax and fee from CFC of any municipal wards.
